The Santa Claus Parade is on Friday, November 20th this year.

There will be free hot dogs and hot chocolate, Christmas carols, the annual tree light up, and a special visit from Mr. and Mrs. Claus.

As well, all of this will be followed up by the annual ‘Skate with the Huskies’ at the North Peace Arena. Admission to skate is free with a non-perishable food item.

The City has let residents know that there will be some temporary road closures to prepare and execute the parade safely.

The intersection of 110th ave. and 98th st., will be closed beginning at 5PM.

Surrounding roads of 98th st. that will be temporary blocked off include Peace River Road, 111th ave. and 112nd ave.

100th st. between 110th ave. and 96th ave. will be closed beginning at 5:30 PM, for the duration of the parade, starting at 6 PM.

The City asks drivers to use 102nd Street as an alternative route when traveling North/South during the time that 100th street is blocked off, and to respect volunteers and workers manning the barricades, as well as directing traffic.

Below is a map of the route and what roads will be closed.
