Teton Gravity Research is coming back to Fort St. John to present Paradise Waits, a ski and snowboard film.

Shane Brooks and Shane Stirling has been partnering up with TGR each year to bring a ski/snowboard film to The Lido, where it has been for the last three years.

Last November, ‘Almost Ablaze’ was shown at the same theatre.

As this screening coincides with the World U-17 Hockey Challenge wrapping up in Fort St. John and Dawson Creek, Shane Brooks said he’s not sure how ticket sales will turn out.

“We sell almost everything at the door, so with the hockey game I really don’t know what the turn out is going to be,” he said.

“We could have an absolute bust and have nobody there because of the hockey game, or we could have a whole pile of people show up right after the hockey game at 8:30 when it’s finished and flood the doors … sell out at 150 people.”

Tickets are $15 and can be bought at the Lido, Epscan, and Rosebrook Flooring – or at the door.
