Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for the B.C. South Peace.  Dawson Creek and Chetwynd could see up to 15 cm of snow today.

The forecast for the North Peace still calls for only up to 4 cm of snow.  See the full text of the warning below for the South Peace.

Current details:
Snowfall, with total amounts of 10 to 15 cm is expected. A low pressure system moving across the BC interior will spread snow to BC South Peace River region today. Total snowfall amounts of 10 cm are expected. The snow is expected to taper off this evening.

Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. Snowfall Warnings are issued when significant snowfall is expected. Environment Canada meteorologists will update alerts as required. Please monitor local media or Weatheradio.
