With only two days left in the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge four teams remain in contention for the gold medal. Canada red, Canada white, Russia, and Sweden will be looking to book their spots into Saturday’s gold medal game when the semifinals begin tonight.

The semifinal games pit Canada red against Russia in a rematch of Tuesday’s classic at 6 p.m. at the North Peace Arena. In Dawson Creek Canada white will take on Sweden at 7 p.m.

The placement games will have the United States facing off with Finland in Fort St. John at 1:30 for fifth place, and Canada black will do battle with the Czech Republic at 2:30 in Dawson Creek for seventh.
