FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — The Lakeview Inn and Suites is inviting children with special needs, and their families, to come down on Sunday for special time with Santa.

Also presented by Roustabouts and Jolene Mackay photography, the event starts at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 20, and goes until every child has seen Santa. This is the second year the event has been at the Lakeview Inns & Suites, and the third it has been running in total.

My Special Time With Santa offers those with challenging social, emotional or behavioral needs a ‘more sedate, sensory-friendly visit with Santa featuring low lighting and quiet surroundings.’

General Manager of the Suites Christina Seguin says this kind of event allows for the children to feel less anxious in a ‘safe space’ to see Santa.

The event is completely free — with free admission and free photos of your child with Santa, and a gift bag, after.
