Dawson Creek RCMP is investigating a series of break and enters around the area of 116 Avenue. Police have responded to a number of break ins as of late and are seeking the help from the public.

Anyone who observes suspicious activity in the area is asked to contact police immediately. RCMP is also advising citizens to record the serial numbers of items of high value so they can be returned to the rightful owner and to file additional charges against suspects.

RCMP has also responded to a number of break ins at cabins in the One Island Lake area, and as such those with property are encouraged to check if a break in has occurred.
