FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Environment Canada has issued a fog advisory for the North Peace, including Fort St. John.

According to the advisory, dense fog is expected in the area and could persist into the early afternoon.

The same advisory has also been issued for Grande Prairie and parts of the Alberta Peace.

Fog Advisory in effect for:

  • B.C. North Peace River

Near zero visibility in fog is expected or occurring.

Dense fog near Fort St. John is expected to persist into early this afternoon.

Visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero. If travelling, be prepared for areas of near-zero visibility. If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance.
