Last night, just before 11 p.m., Fort St. John RCMP were notified by the hospital that a 21-year-old man had just been admitted to hospital suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim of the shooting underwent surgery this morning, and is expected to make a full recovery.

Police say he was uncooperative with officers prior to going into surgery, so not much is confirmed right now as investigations continue.
