GRANDE PRAIRIE, A.B. — The RCMP detachment in Grande Prairie is searching for the suspect in the case of a stolen 2014 Kia Rio, which has been recovered.

Last night, around 7 p.m., they were notified that a car was stolen from a parking lot near the corner of 100 avenue, and 93 street. A man was getting into his car when another man approached him with a knife. He demanded the owner to get out of the car, and left him unharmed as he took off in an unknown direction.

The man suspected of the crime was wearing a dark blue or black hoodie with the hood up and possibly a black mask or scarf covering his face, blue jeans and brown work or hiking boots.
