Northern Lights College was the sight of festivities as NLC’s Business Management 104 Class hosted a multicultural celebration with a free lunch and performances.

“They were here all night, cooking and preparing for this event,” said Business Management Instructor at Northern Lights College Nakib Ahmed. “The caliber of the students we have, the engagement … the enthusiasm, is really impressive. This year is better than any other year.”

Community Interviews with Moose FM

This celebration is a class project of Business Management 104’s, to help foster multicultural exchange at NLC.

The crowd saw dance performances by people with First Nations, Indian, Japanese, and Western backgrounds.

A sizable donation was also made to the local food bank.
