The Performing Arts B.C. Festival will be in Fort St. John from May 31 – Jun. 4, 2016, and volunteers are still needed to keep the shows running smoothly.

An info session was held in early October at the North Peace Cultural Centre, but volunteers are still needed in almost every category.

“We could use a few more members on the actual organizing committee,” said Jan McKale with Performing Arts BC, adding that they are needed as well for managing music, as they have a lot of volunteers for the dance side already.

Volunteers are also needed to look after venues — McKale says they need a main person at each of those venues and that job will begin about a month before the festival.

Drivers will be needed as well.

For more information on becoming a volunteer, the best people to contact are Margaret May ([email protected]), or Jan McKale ([email protected])
