Grande Prairie RCMP are searching for the suspect in a robbery from yesterday morning.

A man entered the Mountview convenience store, carrying a knife.

He then demanded money from the store clerk, and after the clerk complied with these demands, he left the premises on foot.

No injuries were reported in this incident.

Grande Prairie RCMP describes their suspect as Caucasian man, standing between 5’7″ and 5’9″ with a thin build and light-coloured stubble. He was wearing a black jacket with a white hood, glasses with yellow lenses, blue jeans.

Police also responded to a report of an armed robbery at 5 a.m. this morning at the Lakeland Mac’s store.

It has not been indicated if these robberies are connected.
