FORT ST. JOHN – The N.E. B.C. and Yukon Trackers got one of a possible four points in the standings following games against Grande Prairie and Peace River. The Trackers lost 5-4 to the Storm, and managed a tie with the Royals 4-4.

The Storm held leads of 2-1 and 4-3 after the first and second periods respectively on Friday. The Trackers managed to tie the game in the third but were unable to hang on or pull ahead as Grande Prairie netted the game winner just after the ten minute mark.

Yesterday against the Royals the clubs were tied at one after the opening 20 minutes, and the Trackers found themselves trailing by one at 3-2 after the second. In the third N.E. B.C. tied the game just after the six minute mark, however Peace River again took the lead with 7:21 remaining. To their credit the Trackers kept playing hard and just 44 seconds later managed to tie the game to round out the scoring.
