TUMBLER RIDGE, B.C. — The Mayor of Tumbler Ridge, Don McPherson, has announced that the city has a new Chief Administrative Officer — following the departure of Barry Elliott last fall.

Jordan Wall joins the team as their new CAO, having worked in their Economics Development Department beforehand. McPherson calls him an ‘integral part in many major accomplishments,’ including Tumbler Ridge being named ‘Community of the Year’ by Clean Energy BC among other endeavours.

“Mr. Wall was chosen unanimously by Council and will provide sound strategic thinking and guidance to our community,” McPherson said. “We are very excited to secure the services of someone deemed a quickly rising star in Provincial and municipal circles.”

Peace River South MLA Mike Bernier personally congratulated Wall, saying he has represented the community with ‘professionalism and pride’ while in his role as Economic Development Officer for the District.

“I have always had a great relationship with Jordan and look forward to a continued positive working relationship with the District Council and Jordan in his new role as CAO.”
