FORT NELSON, B.C. — Peace River RCMP has confirmed the prisoner who got loose yesterday, Harley John Lay, is back in police custody.

RCMP arrested Lay and two other people near Fort Nelson this morning around 11:30 a.m.

The 29-year-old prisoner was taken from police custody by a masked man yesterday morning, on route to the local hospital. He was taken into a van, which headed from Peace River toward Highway 2.
