FORT ST JOHN, B.C. — A former PRRD director, who served Electoral Area C of the regional district, was arrested at a Site C protest earlier today.

Arthur Hadland was taken away by police officers around 10:30 a.m. this morning. He was among many protesters gathered at the entrance of the construction site on 269 road, and on Old Fort road.

David Conway with BC Hydro says the Crown Corporation respects the right of all individuals to peacefully protest and express their opinions about Site C in a safe and lawful manner.
