FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — Joe Foy of the Western Canada Wilderness Committee is targeting both levels of senior government on his New Year wish list, and he has focussed on two key issues here in northeast B.C.

He argues the government in Victoria seems to have lost its way in terms of protecting the environment and in the creating jobs.

The Wilderness Committee — with a stated Mission to protect Canada’s bio-diversity through strategic research and grassroots public education — now has a membership of over 30,000.
