GRANDE PRAIRIE, A.B. — RCMP in Grande Prairie are continuing to investigate an robbery by a masked man, at a local store earlier this week.

On Monday night around 7:30 p.m., a report was taken by Grande Prairie RCMP, saying a robbery had taken place at Barry’s Variety, in the north part of the city.

A man wearing a Halloween mask entered the store and demanded money from the cashier. The cashier cooperated with the demands, and the suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. The employee was not harmed.

RCMP describes their suspect as possibly Caucasian, 5’9″, skinny and wearing black sports style pants, as well as a black jacket.
