FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — The City of Fort St. John has scheduled a date for a public meeting to be hosted, regarding the proposed Operating Budget for 2016.

On Jan. 11, 2016, City Council and Staff will be consulting with members of the public in attendance. The meeting starts at 6 p.m.

On that same night, the City is hosting a public hearing regarding North Peace Savings and Credit Union’s application to amend respective community plans and bylaws. They want to designate the appropriate land use on a portion of the parcel to reflect the privately owned cemetery — for the parent parcel to be subdivided.

Copies of related documents are available to be examined at City Hall between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., until the afternoon of Jan. 11.
