Robert Burns dinner honours the memory of Scottish poet

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. — The annual Robert Burns dinner will be hosted by the Knights of Columbus, the Masons and the Shriners this Saturday, Jan. 23 at the Immaculata Hall.

The annual dinner honours the memory of Scottish poet Robert Burns, typically occurring around Jan. 25, his birthday.

Drinks are served at 6 p.m., and a formal/semi-formal traditional Scottish dinner, including haggis, begins at 7 p.m. A guest will also be speaking to the memory of Burns.

After dinner, the Rotary Pipe Band will be performing, and a dance is scheduled.

Tickets are $60 each, and are available at MNP, Cliffside Printing, Needful Things in the Totem mall, or through Dan Davies.
