The City of Fort St. John, in partnership with Moose FM and the Fort St. John Co-op, is launching Live It! Active Challenge is an 8 week challenge that begins on January 25th to encourage Fort St. John residents to get out and be active.

Registration is now underway for the Live It! Active Challenge.  Once registered participants can go online at track their activity and work toward a virtual destination.  Participants will not only work toward living a healthy lifestyle, but have a chance to win great weekly prizes and the grand prize of flights for two anywhere Air Canada flies in North America. Anyone can participate in the Challenge but only residents of the North Peace Region can claim prizes.

This isn’t meant to be a weight loss challenge; it’s meant to encourage residents to live an active lifestyle.

Residents can sign up as an individual or as a team and of course teams can challenge other teams that participate.  Register online at or in person at the Pomeroy Sport Centre, or the North Peace Leisure Pool.

The cost to participate is only $25 per person, with partial proceeds from the registration fee going to North Peace Gymnastics.
