Dawson Creek woman missing since Thursday

DAWSON CREEK, B.C. — A woman from Dawson Creek has been reportedly missing since last week.

On April 22, around 7:30 p.m., Dawson Creek’s RCMP detachment received a report that 41-year-old Tammy Poole left her home Thursday night at 10:00 p.m. to go for a walk, and has not been seen since.

Her family says she has a history of going for walks for one to two hours, but always returns home. As Tammy has some physical disabilities and requires medical care, police and her family are concerned about her well-being.

Tammy is described as an Indigenous woman, approximately five feet tall and weighing around 110 pounds. She has shoulder length greying black hair that is frequently tied back in a ponytail.

When she was last seen, she was believed to be wearing a black fleece zip-up winter jacket, a black shirt, blue jeans and black sneaker type shoes.

Officials are asking anyone who may have seen Tammy to contact the Dawson Creek RCMP or call 911.
