If you still need tickets to the event, you can visit any On The Rocks Liquor Store in Fort St. John. Tickets will also be available at the gates (depending on how many are left). Only credit and debit will be accepted.
Outside food and beverages are not allowed onsite including alcohol. There are many sites throughout the facility where food and beverages are available. Exceptions will be made for those with special food needs.
Remember to arrive early. This event is sold out. There is one entrance to the event located before you cross the causeway to the island at Peace Island Park. Come early so you will have the opportunity to get prime parking and avoid possible line-ups.
IN 2016 THERE WILL NOW BE A SHUTTLE RUNNING FROM THE PARKING LOT AND PEACE ISLAND OFFICE TO THE MAIN GATE.
Diversified Tranportation and Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Fort St. John will help to run the shuttles this year at CanolaFest. The shuttle from Fort St. John will run once an hour starting at 2 p.m. from the Totem Mall. Park on the westside of the mall, between the mall and Safeway. The shuttle will pick you up at the westside entrance to the Aurora Cinema Centre. The shuttle will then make a stop at the Taylor Community Hall at approximately 20 minutes after every hour.
The last shuttle will leave Fort St. John at 8 p.m. and 8:20 p.m. in Taylor. From 9 p.m. until all visitors are home, the shuttle will then bring ticket holders from Peace Island Park back to Fort St. John and Taylor.
