TAYLOR, B.C. – There are a pair of events happening at the Big Bam Ski Hill in Taylor this coming week.

The non-profit organisation that runs the ski hill will be hosting its monthly planning meeting for members and directors alike on Tuesday evening. The meeting is open to members of the ski hill’s non-profit parent organisation, and takes place at 7:00 p.m. at the ski hill’s chalet.

The ski hill will also be hosting an event that features fun for the whole family on Sunday afternoon. The Big Bam slip’n’slide stretches across nearly ¼ the vertical of the bottom part of the hill. Originally scheduled to open during the June Jam earlier this summer, the slip’n’slide is slightly narrower than last year’s slide, but considerably longer. Tickets to are $5.00 for an arms-length, or approximately ten trips down the slip’n’slide. The ski hill will also feature face-painting and a kids colouring contest as well. Tickets for the event can be picked up at the ski hill on Sunday. For more information, check out Big Bam’s website, or their Facebook page.
