Grande Prairie RCMP asking for assistance in finding missing man

UPDATE: Troy McKenzie has been located by police.

GRANDE PRAIRIE, A.B. – RCMP in Grande Prairie are asking for help in locating 40 year-old Troy McKenzie.

He was deemed missing yesterday. Police say he was in contact with a friend on social media on August 2nd but hasn’t been heard from since. Police have attempted to locate him, but have not found him.

McKenzie is described as Caucasian, brown hair, hazel eyes, 5’6″ and 174 lbs.

There is a general concern for McKenzie’s well being and RCMP would like to talk to him as soon as possible.

Police are asking anyone who knows of McKenzie’s whereabouts or has recently been in contact with him to please contact the Grande Prairie RCMP Detachment at 780-830-5701 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
