Grande Prairie RCMP seek assistance in finding missing woman


GRANDE PRAIRIE, A.B. – Police in Grande Prairie are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Sylvia Tina Cardinal (43).

She was reported missing on August 21st, 2016. Cardinal was last seen by a friend on August 19th in the evening near Westgate apartments.

Sylvia Tina Cardinal is described as:

  • Aboriginal;
  • 43 years old;
  • Shoulder length brown hair;
  • Brown eyes;
  • Approximately 146 lbs;
  • 5’4 tall

Police are asking anyone who knows of Cardinal’s location or has recently been in contact with her to please contact the Grande Prairie RCMP Detachment at 780-830-5701 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
