FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Part of the Alaska Highway in Fort St. John was closed for some time this afternoon because of a motor vehicle incident.
RCMP, fire, and ambulance crews could be seen occupying the northbound lanes of the Alaska Highway in a post on local social media at approximately 2:15 p.m. The northbound lanes of the Alaska Highway were closed, causing minor backups on adjacent frontage roads. Members of the RCMP were seen speaking with several members of the public at the scene, before reopening the road at around 2:30 p.m.
