EDMONTON, A.B. – Skyeler Kerr qualified for his first-ever Canadian National Swimming Championship final in Edmonton this morning.

Swimming in the 50 metre Butterfly, Kerr went into the event seeded 21st. While not quite matching his personal-best time of 25.33 seconds that won him the Bronze medal at Age Group Nationals in the event on Sunday, Kerr swam an impressive 25.65 to place 13th in this mornings prelims, earning him a spot in the ‘B’ Finals this evening.
