Over 3,400 customers without power in Fort St. John area

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Over 3,400 customers are without power in part of Fort St. John and north towards Charlie Lake.

There are currently two outages in the area.  The first outage is east of the Old Fort Road, West of 84th street, North of 79 ave and South of 117 ave.  That outage is affecting 2,360 customers.

The second outage is east of the 275 road, west of 84 street and south of the 246 road.  That outage is affecting just over 1,100 customers.

Crews from B.C. Hydro are expected to arrive on scene of the outage by 3 p.m.

There is no estimate on when those outages will be restored at this time.
