Power outage west of Dawson Creek

UPDATE:  Hydro says power should be restored by 5 p.m. for this outage.  The outage was caused by a motor vehicle collision.

 

DAWSON CREEK, B.C. – Over 1,000 customers are without power west of Dawson Creek along the Hart Highway and north on the Braden Road.

The outage started at approximately 3:20 p.m.  Crews have been dispatched to deal with the outage, but there is no estimate on when the power will be restored.

The cause of the outage is under investigation.
