TD bank robbed in Grande Prairie on Sunday

GRANDE PRAIRIE, A.B. – Police in Grande Prairie are investigating after a bank robbery in the Swan City this past weekend.

On Sunday at approximately 11:40 a.m., the Grande Prairie RCMP received a report of a robbery at the TD Canada Trust on West Side Drive.

A lone male suspect entered the bank, approached a teller and demanded money. The teller was cooperative and turned over an undisclosed about of cash. The man then fled the bank on foot.

The suspect is described as: Caucasian, approximately 40 years old with an undetermined height and build. He has brown hair, a scuffy beard, and was wearing a black hoodie and black hat.
