Wanted man could be in northern BC: Police

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The RCMP are still asking for public assistance in locating Shawn Lawrence Wicks, 47.

Public tips have been received but they have yet to find Wicks. Police believe he may be in the city of Edmonton, or in the northern BC area.  RCMP also believe someone has information that can help them.

Wicks is described as:

  • Caucasian
  • 5’10” tall
  • Medium build – 170 pounds
  • Brown hair / blue eyes
  • Tribal Tattoo on his right arm

If you have information about the location of Wicks, please call the Beaumont RCMP at (780) 929-7400 or your local police department.  The RCMP advise that you not  approach Wicks, rather contact the police to advise of his whereabouts.
