DAWSON CREEK, B.C. – A youth from Dawson Creek was treated in hospital after being struck by a car while riding his bike yesterday.

On Monday at around 5:10 p.m., officers from the Dawson Creek RCMP responded to a crash that occurred at the intersection of 15th Street and 108th Avenue. The collision involved a car and a bicycle, and sent a male youth to the Dawson Creek Hospital with what are believed to be minor injuries. The driver of the car was uninjured.

The RCMP are continuing their investigation, but do not believe that speed or alcohol were factors in the crash.
