Start of school year delayed

VICTORIA, B.C. - The school year will not start as planned on September 8.

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – A traffic-related incident has closed 100th Avenue in both directions this morning between 102nd Street and 106th Street.

Energeticcity.ca was notified of the incident shortly after 7:00 a.m. At 7:15, members of the Fort St. John RCMP, Fire Department, and BC Ambulance Service were at the scene and were seen providing first aid while police questioned eyewitnesses. The Ambulance was seen leaving the area several minutes later. A member of the RCMP at the scene told Energeticcity.ca that the road won’t likely reopen before 12:00 p.m.
