Dawson Creek man shot during targeted scuffle at home

DAWSON CREEK, B.C. – Dawson Creek RCMP are investigating a shooting that happened last night at a home in the Myrtle Creek Estates area.

Last night, Dawson Creek RCMP as well as the BC Ambulance Service received a report of a shooting.

When police arrived on scene, they found a 57 year-old man who suffering from a gunshot wound.

The man is in hospital in stable condition and was treated accordingly.

Police say there is no risk to the public, as they believe the shooting location was targeted.

Currently, there are no suspect(s), as they fled before police arrived on scene.
