FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Northern Lights Raceway is set to host their final weekend of racing in what has been a rainier-than-usual season of drag racing.

Races start at 10:00 a.m. on both Saturday and Sunday, with the elimination rounds starting after lunch at around 2:00 p.m. and running until 6.

Tonight also marks the final time this weekend that street-legal cars will be tearing up the drag strip next to the North Peace Airport. The street-legal drag races run between 5:00 and 9:00 p.m. The event costs $20.00, and is open to anyone with a vehicle that can pass a tech inspection, and has a driver’s license and an approved crash helmet.
