FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – After reports surfaced this morning that claimed Petronas could be selling stake in the Pacific NorthWest LNG project, The BC government says otherwise.

In an email, the Ministry of Natural Gas Development said that the main stakeholder in the deal is not going to sell the stake and isn’t considering doing so.

The government said they spoke to Petronas and were reassured about the project.
