Pat Pimm charged with assault

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Pat Pimm has been charged with assault.

It was announced today that special prosecutor Micheal Klein has approved a charge of assault against Patrick Pimm. Pimm stepped down from the Liberal Caucus on August 15th.

In the release, it says that the incident occurred on August 13th.

“Mr. Pimm has been charged with one count of assault, which is alleged to have
occurred on August 13, 2016 in Dawson Creek, British Columbia. Mr. Pimm’s first
appearance on this charge is scheduled for September 13, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. at the
Dawson Creek Provincial Court, file number 33502-1-K.”

The release also says that as this matter is before the courts, the CJB and the Special Prosecutor will not be making any further comment.
