PHOTOS: Grande Prairie RCMP request help to locate missing female youth who may be headed to BC

UPDATE: Both Mary Estelle and Kaetana Cardinal have been located safe and unharmed by police.

GRANDE PRAIRIE, A.B. – Police in Grande Prairie are asking for help in locating two missing female youth, who they believe could potentially be on the way to BC.

Mary Estelle, 13, was last seen on September 6th at around 4:00 pm near the Grande Prairie Court House.

Estelle is described as:

  • Aboriginal
  • Shoulder length brown hair
  • Brown eyes
  • Last seen wearing a white shirt and black jeans

Kaetana Cardinal, 12, was reported missing on September 7th by family.

Cardinal is described as:

  • Metis
  • Brown hair
  • Brown eyes
  • 5’4″
  • 130 lbs

Police believed the two may be travelling together and may be headed to BC.
