GRANDE PRAIRIE, A.B. – The Grande Prairie RCMP say that the suspect wanted in connection with last week’s shooting at the Prairie Mall has been arrested.

23 year-old Liban Musse was named as the main suspect in the case of the shooting, which happened last Thursday. The single shot fired in the incident sent three people to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The RCMP’s investigation had officers learn that Musse was in the Calgary area. He was located and arrested at approximately 1:30 this morning today at a hotel in the northwest area of Calgary.

Musse is currently in police custody, and is due to appear in court in Grande Prairie on September 26th. He faces up to six charges in relation to the shooting.
