Prince George RCMP investigate fatal collision

PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. – Police are continuing their investigation into what caused a fatal collision involving two vehicles near Prince George yesterday afternoon.

On Monday September 5th at approximately 3:30 p.m., the Prince George RCMP received a report of a head-on collision on the Chief Lake Road northwest of Prince George.

Emergency services including the Prince George RCMP attended the scene and located a deceased adult male in one of the vehicles. The adult female driver of the other vehicle was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A section of the Chief Lake Road was closed for more than three hours as RCMP members and a Collision Reconstructionist gathered evidence.
