UPDATED: Crash on Highway 52 North kills 8 year-old girl

TUMBLER RIDGE, B.C. – UPDATE: An 8 year-old girl was killed in the crash that occurred earlier this afternoon according to Dawson Creek Fire Chief Gordon Smith.

It appears there has been a serious 2 vehicle crash 75 km out of Tumbler Ridge on the way back to Fort St. John.

In photos sent to Energeticcity.ca, there is one air ambulance and two other ambulances on the scene.

It appears one of the vehicles left the road. No word on severity of injuries yet.
