Two Fort St. John RCMP officers begin Tour de North today

PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. – A pair of Fort St. John RCMP officers hit the road this morning on bikes to partake in this year’s Cops for Cancer Tour de North.

This year’s Tour de North will be taking place from now until September 22nd, and will see riders cycling over 700 kilometres from Prince George to Prince Rupert. The ride will be taking place between Prince George and Vanderhoof today.

Constables Rob Belanger and Sheldon Ewington will be the Fort St. John detachment’s two representatives in this year’s ride. So far the team has raised a total of $189,592, or 70 percent of their goal.
