Fog advisory issued for Peace River North

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – Environment Canada has issued a fog advisory for Peace River North including Fort St. John.

The advisory says fog pockets will persist through tonight and into Tuesday causing near zero visibility.  The fog has already caused delays at the North Peace Airport, with some flights being forced to divert to other airports.

Fog advisory in effect for:

  • B.C. North Peace River

Near zero visibility in fog is expected or occurring.

Pockets of fog will persist through tonight.

If travelling, be prepared for areas of near-zero visibility.
