FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The 20th annual to Be An Angel Gala will be taking place on Saturday, November 5th this year. The to Be an Angel campaign starts on November 1st.
The foundation says the goal of the campaign is to raise funds for medical equipment that is not covered in the budget.
“The campaign aims to support the purchase of medical equipment for the Fort St. John Hospital and Peace Villa Care Facility, not covered under its budget. The process of getting much-needed medical equipment can often be a lengthy one. The Foundation’s goal is to reduce the time from need to fulfillment, making the best healthcare available sooner to our community.”
The Angel Campaign consists of 4 parts all going towards the goal of $250,000:
– Be An Angel Gala on November 5th
– An invitation to give is mailed out to all recent donors
– Drop boxes will be at select financial institutions to make donations
– Light a Moose Radiothon taking place November 16-18
The Gala theme this year is “Candy Cane Christmas”. The Gala will be taking place at the Pomeroy Hotel. The evening will start with cocktails and the silent auction at 6:00 pm followed by dinner at 7:00 pm. The official commencement of “Be an Angel” will then take place at 8:00 pm and the Live Auction will follow at 8:30 pm.
