UPDATE: Highway 97 21 kilometres east of Chetwynd has now been reopened to single-lane alternating traffic in both directions.

CHETWYND, B.C. – The Hart Highway (Highway 97) is closed between the Pine River and Chetwynd after a collision Wednesday morning.

The highway is closed 21 km east of Chetwynd.  Drivebc.ca, says the highway could re-open between between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m.
