Police say the house has been vacant for some time. They also say it had the findings of a drug lab. The owners alerted RCMP immediatley upon the discovery.

Hudson’s Hope RCMP asked for assistance from specialized units trained to safely dismantle these kinds of labs. Those specialized teams came from Alberta as well as Vancouver. RCMP officers from Fort St. John and Chetwynd also attended the scence to help with scene security and calls for service.

Police say Hudson’s Hope Fire Department and BC Ambulance also played a big part, making sure that everyone was safe and they were available should anyone need medical attention.

Hudson’s Hope RCMP continue to investigate and are asking anyone with information on this matter to contact the Hudson’s Hope RCMP or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
