MLA Pat Pimm’s arraignment hearing pushed back three weeks

DAWSON CREEK, B.C. – Pat Pimm once again was not present in court this morning for a scheduled arraignment hearing.

Pimm’s legal council Greg Cranston spoke via telephone on his behalf.

An adjournment was requested to a later date in the case with Cranston still waiting for the disclosure. The judge gave him 2 dates to choose from, with Cranston taking the earlier of the 2. The arraignment hearing is now set for October 25th, 2016 at 2:00 pm in a Dawson Creek courtroom.

Pimm was charged with assault last month after stepping down from the Liberal caucus when allegations were brought against him that required him to seek legal council.
