Police look for suspect in On the Rocks liquor store robbery

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – On October 7th, 2016 Fort St. John RCMP received a report of an armed robbery at On the Rocks liquor store located at the 10000 block of Alder Crescent in Fort St John.

A lone male entered the store, armed with a weapon. He allegedly then asked for what was in the cash register and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police say that his face was covered, however the disguise is very distinct as seen in the pictures released.

The suspect was wearing:

  • Under the outer jacket the suspect is wearing a Nike grey and black horizontal sweater/hoody/shirt
  • Blue high visibility coveralls
  • Dark hoody/jacket with a unique pattern on the front of it
  • On the back of the outer hoody/jacket is a thick blue line or tape that may be covering up distinctive wording
  • photo of stripes is of a generic nature

The Fort St John RCMP are asking anyone with information regarding this robbery to please call 250-787-8100 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (tips).
