RCMP search for vehicle after four year-old hit

FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. – The Fort St. John RCMP are searching for a white SUV after a 4 year-old child was hit near the London Bull Pub Friday night.

At approximately 6:30 p.m. Friday, a 4 year-old was struck by a white SUV with an unknown plate.  The incident took place in the parking lot of London Bull located at 8403 93 street.

The SUV failed to remain at the scene of the collision and exited the parking lot headed southbound on 93 street.

The child was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries. “This collision had the potential to cause serious harm and it is very concerning that the driver of the SUV would not remain on scene”, said Cst. SAGGAR of the Fort St John RCMP.

Police are urging the Driver of the SUV to come forward and identify themselves. Anyone with information regarding this incident and/or the identity of the driver or vehicle information is being requested to call the Fort St John RCMP at 250-787-8100 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
